What to Buy??

I get lots of requests to get certain stock in for the shop and the trick is to know what to stock and what not to stock.  There is a very fine line between finding something that sells really well and being stuck with unwanted stock.

I have a golden rule - especially when it comes to clothing, bags and homewares - that if it doesn't WOW me I don't stock it, and it seems to be working.  The Vendula bags and purses are a really big hit with customers and I have to admit to taking one for myself.  I had the lime green, He Loves Me, Crossbody bag.  I really wanted the weekender bag, but its a big for day to day use and I would definitely fill it with rubbish.

My First Blog

I have spent so long reading everyone's blogs, I decided that when I had 10 minutes I would start my own.  So thank you to Talita from Gloss Goss, http://www.theglossgoss.com/ who's blog is my favourite, for inspiring me.


I have an on-line shop selling all of my favourite things.  I love make-up and confess that I have so much of it in my make-up bags (yes! I have more than one) that I really don't know what's in there.


So today, my hubby is working and I decided enough was enough and it was time to sort it out.  The contents were frankly embarrassing - seeing as I have a shop selling make-up you would think I have everything I need - no! it was sad.  


Old mascaras, broken powders and brushes that I don't think have ever been cleaned.
